Welcome to Winter Wonderland

Tromsø welcomed us with an impressive 72 centimetres of fresh snow, transforming the city into a fairytale winter wonderland. Nestled between fjords, mountains and Arctic light, we were immediately captivated by the atmosphere.

But the snow was only the beginning of a week full of unique experiences.

A magical day at sea – 20 orcas within reach

An absolute highlight of our workation was our trip out to the open sea. We had originally hoped to see a whale, but the reality exceeded all expectations:

Around 20 orcas appeared right next to our boat. So close that we could observe their movements perfectly. So close that every moment was simply breathtaking.

A nature experience that will remain in our memories for a long time to come.

Dog sledding: an Arctic experience you can steer yourself

Our dog sled tour was also a wonderful experience. It was a ride through the snow-covered landscape, with motivated dogs, clear air and a view of the mountains that was almost meditative. An authentic piece of Norway and definitely one of our favourite experiences.

One thing is certain for us: We will be back.

Teamwork, new perspectives and lots of inspiration

Aside from the activities, this week provided time for teamwork, creativity and topics that are often neglected in everyday business. The distance from our office desks did us good – and made us even stronger as a team.
