The trade fair was impressively well attended: packed halls, enthusiastic visitors and an atmosphere that demonstrated
just how prevalent the topic of digitalisation has become in the public sector.
As a software provider for cities, municipalities and counties, it was inspiring for us to see the high level of
interest in modern, practical solutions for day-to-day human resources work.
Digitisation of human resources management – topics that concern local authorities
Whether at the exhibition stand, in personal conversations or at the numerous specialist presentations – it was clear
everywhere that digital transformation has long been a reality in local government.
From recruiting and onboarding to time management, employee retention and personnel development: the demand
for efficient, user-friendly HR software is growing steadily.
Our two presentations were a particular highlight:
🎤 Markus: “Hype, hope, everyday HR: what AI can really do”
🎤 Christian: “Bridging the gap: from recruiting to holistic onboarding”
Both sessions attracted a great deal of interest, drawing full houses and lively discussions. The topic of
artificial intelligence in everyday HR work in particular demonstrated how closely innovation and practice go hand in
hand today and how willing
local authorities are to integrate digital tools into their working environment.
Kommunale Nuremberg 2025 has once again proven that it is the central meeting place for cities, municipalities and
software providers who want to shape the future of administration together.
For us as an HR tech company, the trade fair was a great opportunity to talk to decision-makers from the
public sector about current challenges, strategies and innovative software solutions.
Many visitors took the opportunity to find out about our HR software solutions directly on site and to
experience how digital tools can simplify personnel processes, accelerate workflows and improve day-to-day
administration in the long term.
Conclusion: Two days of trade fair full of energy, exchange and forward thinking
Kommunale 2025 in Nuremberg sent a strong signal to the industry: the digitalisation of human resources management is
no longer a topic for the future – it is happening here and now.
We are returning to Bamberg with many new contacts, valuable ideas and a great deal of motivation.
We are already looking forward to the next Kommunale – with new ideas, innovative features and the same goal:
to make municipal human resources work easier, smarter and more human.
